Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Junior Accountant to join our clients Finance team. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of accounting principles, with specific experience in tax declaration and liaising with tax authorities. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication within our international team and with external stakeholders. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow your expertise in financial reporting, tax compliance, and general accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records and reports.

• Handle tax declarations and ensure compliance with local and international tax regulations.

• Liaise with tax offices and other regulatory bodies to resolve queries and submit required documentation.

• Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.

• Reconcile bank statements and maintain precise ledger entries.

• Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

• Assist in the preparation of audit materials and respond to audit inquiries.

• Provide administrative support to senior accounting staff as needed.

 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• At least 1 year of professional experience in accounting or finance, with exposure to tax-related tasks.

• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).

• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and tax regulations.

• Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.

• Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with internal teams and external authorities.
