Purpose of the Job:
- The role holder is responsible to manage the sales force and the resources in a way that will meet the sales plan of Awash Wine SC. Effectively and Efficiently. Asses the Market and competition and organize the data or information, sales intelligence to propose a remedial action plan/strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create regional sales plans and targets in alignment with business objectives
- Conduct periodical visits to Agents and outlets under his responsibility and produce visit report
- Drive sales volume to achieve sales target set for the region
- Close follow-up and monitor performances and activities of ASM/RSS under his supervision
- Ensure all required reports are communicated in accurate and timely manner
- Evaluate Agent and internal sales team performances
- Report on regional sales results
- Ensure price and distribution territory adherence of Agents
- Support in forecasting monthly, quarterly, and annual agents’ sales volume
- Identify hiring needs, select, and train new salespeople
- Prepare and review the annual budget for the area of responsibility
- Analyze regional market trends and discover new opportunities for growth
- Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
- Participate in decisions for expansion or territory adjustment
- Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
- Liaison between Finance, Customer service, Sales operations, Marketing and Agents for smooth functioning of the business
- Assess the market and reflect on competitor activities that require counter strategy
- Perform the required administrative tasks
- Recruit and manage agent network
- Coach and develop ASMs/RSSs
- Follow-up employee’s attendance and report to Human Resource department.
- Arrange and lead the monthly department team meeting and share points raised to concerned individuals and departments.
- Attend weekly and monthly regular management meetings and share the information to his/her team.
- Responsible for coaching and mentoring subordinates while providing ongoing instruction and support.
- Conduct one-on-one meetings for subordinates and give feedback on their current performance.
Education :
- MA Degree or BA Degree in Marketing and Sales or Business Administration or related fields.
Experience:
- 10 Years of Work Experience for MA Degree or 12 Years of Work Experience for BA Degree in the Sales field out of which 4 years’ experience having supervised sales representatives.
