Position: Manager, Mining Operations
Location: Benishangul, Asosa, Mine Site Location-Daliti, in field & around areas.
Employment Type: Full-Time 
Reports To:  General Manager / Director

Job Summary:
The Mine Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all daily mining operations, and  ensure the highest standards of safety, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance are met. Requires strong leadership to manage multidisciplinary teams and ensure the achievement of production goals within established budgets. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of geologists, engineers, operators, and support staff, fostering a strong safety culture.
• Monitor production data, resource use, and equipment performance, implementing improvements as needed.
• Plan and manage operational budgets and control costs effectively.
• Liaise with the head office, government authorities, local communities, and external service providers.
• Oversee the acquisition, installation, maintenance, and storage of mining plant and equipment. 

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: A Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, or a related field is preferred

.

• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience  in a managerial or supervisory role within gold mining operations. And also indepth knowledge in  mining methods, processing techniques , specialized software is prefered

• Language & Ethnicity: Reading and writing skills in English, Oromo and Ethnic lanaguages is must
   
• car driving license is added advantage
