Job Purpose
To monitor, control, and operate CCTV surveillance systems to ensure the safety and security of factories, property, and organizational assets by detecting, reporting, and documenting suspicious activities and incidents.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- CCTV Monitoring & Surveillance
- Continuously monitor CCTV cameras, screens, and recording equipment.
- Identify and report suspicious behavior, security breaches, or safety risks.
- Ensure all cameras are functioning correctly and positioned properly.
- Incident Detection & Reporting
- Immediately report incidents to the Security Supervisor or relevant authority.
- Record incidents accurately in logbooks and incident report forms.
- Preserve video evidence for investigations when required.
- System Operation & Maintenance Support
- Operate recording, playback, and storage systems.
- Report technical faults or camera malfunctions promptly.
- Coordinate with technical teams for system maintenance and repairs.
- Access Control & Coordination
- Support access control monitoring through CCTV.
- Coordinate with security guards on the ground during incidents.
- Assist emergency response actions by providing real-time camera information.
- Confidentiality & Compliance
- Maintain strict confidentiality of surveillance information.
- Ensure CCTV use complies with company policies and legal requirements.
- Prevent unauthorized access to CCTV systems and recordings.
- Documentation & Records
- Maintain daily CCTV monitoring logs.
- Label, archive, and retrieve recorded footage as required.
- Prepare reports for management or investigations.

Working Conditions
- Control room–based work with extended screen monitoring.

- Degree Computer Science /software Engineering Minimum with zero years work experience
- (Certificate in security or CCTV operation is an advantage).
- Previous experience in CCTV monitoring, security, or surveillance preferred.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate CCTV software.
- Good observation, concentration, and reporting skills.
- Ability to work shifts (day/night/weekends).
- Honest, alert, and disciplined with strong ethical standards.
