Job Purpose: To make sure the right beneficiaries are identified using digital technology ( Mobile App) as per the requirements of the Global Distribution Tool (GDT) and assist the team in close coordination with crowd controllers and other teams of key actors

Major Responsibility

  • Verification of beneficiaries as per their order of arrival in close coordination with Admitters of WVE and shurta (Crowd controller)
  • Refer beneficiaries that will not be fulfilling the verification process to litigation teams of WFP  
  • Direct and refer beneficiaries to the commodity collection center  
  • Coordinate and cross check with Admitters, registration and litigation teams of WFP

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

  • Degree /diploma in ICT with trained in digital technology such as GDT,LMMs etc.

 Required Professional Experience

  • Minimum 2 years and above in a similar or related positions of food assistance projects

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Ability to perform field assignments and willingness to travel for long period of time in difficult terrain, harsh and demanding conditions.
  • Computer literacy is an added advantage

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement

  • Office-based with periodic travel to the field

Physical Requirements

  • Physically Fit

Language Requirements

  • Good command of oral and written English
