  • The Production Line Supervisor is responsible for managing and controlling all production activities on the milk processing and packaging line.
  • The role supports the shift leader in ensuring that daily production targets are achieved safely, efficiently, and in accordance with required quality and food safety standards.
  • This position focuses on managing people, machines, and materials to maintain smooth and continuous production operations.
  • Supervise all line activities to ensure production follows the daily plan.
  • Confirm availability of raw materials and packaging materials before start-up.
  • Monitor equipment performance and promptly report faults, stoppages, or abnormalities.
  • Ensure accurate and complete recording of daily production data (output, downtime, waste, etc.).
  • Support efficient line changeovers and cleaning between product types.
  • Ensure all production processes comply with company quality standards, GMP, HACCP, and ISO requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with quality control to verify critical product parameters (temperature, weight, coding accuracy, etc.).
  • Stop production immediately and report whenever non-conforming product is detected.
  • Ensure that all employees adhere to hygiene guidelines and properly use PPE.
  • Support line sanitation, cleaning, and pre-operational checks.
  • Lead and coordinate operators, processors, and helpers assigned to the line.
  • Assign daily tasks and ensure all team members understand their responsibilities.
  • Coach and guide new employees on safety, hygiene, and work procedures.
  • Report attendance issues, discipline cases, and manpower shortages to the shift leader.
  • Ensure all employees wear appropriate PPE and follow safety procedures.
  • Identify, correct, and report unsafe acts, near misses, and equipment hazards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and obstruction-free working environment.
  • Education: Diploma in Dairy Technology, Food Science, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Experience: 2 years of experience in a food or dairy processing plant (supervisory or senior operator level preferred).
  • Understanding milk processing, pasteurization, and packaging.
  • Basic knowledge of machine operation and troubleshooting.
  • Familiar with food safety systems (GMP, HACCP, ISO).
  • Good communication and leadership ability.
  • Organized, reliable, and safety conscious.
  • Able to work under pressure and in rotating shifts
