The Quality Control Expert is responsible for ensuring that products, processes, and services meet established quality standards and customer requirements. The role involves inspecting materials and finished products, monitoring production processes, identifying defects, and implementing corrective and preventive actions to improve overall quality performance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards
• Inspect raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications
• Monitor production processes to identify quality issues and deviations
• Conduct quality tests, measurements, and audits as per approved standards
• Record, analyze, and report quality inspection results
• Investigate non-conformities and root causes of defects
• Recommend and follow up on corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
• Ensure compliance with internal quality systems, ISO standards, and regulatory requirements
• Train and guide production staff on quality requirements and best practices
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and procurement teams to improve quality
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality performance reporting

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Quality Control Expert, Inspector, or similar role
• Strong knowledge of quality control tools and techniques (QC charts, SOPs, inspections, audits)
• Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001) is an advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality reporting tools

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience (depending on organization level)
