Job Title:                    Branch Coordination Officer

Reports to:                 Branch Coordination & monitoring division manager

Location:                    Head Office, Addis Ababa

  1. Job Summary:

Under the direction of the immediate supervisor, the Branch Coordination Officer assists in the development of customer service strategies and customer service management support system; identifies performance  gaps and presents recommendation; participates in the development of effective branch networking with functional units of the Company; collect compile and summarize the periodic performance report of branch offices.

  1. Specific Duties and Responsibilities

    1. Regularly monitor supervise and evaluate the overall business operation and activities of branches and submit report to immediate supervisor on the findings 

    2. Maintain  and update  information  and database system  on the overall business  and activities  of company branches .

    3. Collect compile and summarize the periodic performance report of branch offices.

    4. Assists in monitoring the implementation of internal control systems, compliance to regulations, Company policies and procedures of the Company at branches;

    5. Periodically assesses branch performance vis-à-vis set targets; identifies gaps and presents recommendation; regularly monitors the proper implementation of Company programs at branch level;

    6. Receive process, coordinate and facilitate   the material, logistical and other requirements of branches  and  follow up the progress and on time delivery.

    7. Monitors, evaluates and reports on inter and intra branch relationship and cooperation;

    8. Participate in the monitoring, and assessing  the quality, adequacy and effectiveness of  branches business operation and customer service delivery practice 

    9. Assists in the development of customer service strategies and customer service management support system;

    10. Monitors and evaluates branches program implementation efficiency and effectiveness   and compare and evaluate   against set standards and parameters;

    11. Compile  the budget proposals and performance reports of the branches after checking for appropriateness, consistency and reliability of figures;

    12. Gives technical and professional support to branches  in the preparation of plans budgets, business strategies, performance evaluation, reporting system etc.

    13. Follows up branches to prepare their plans and performance reports regularly;

    14. Utilizes resource in areas of responsibilities as provided in annual work plan and budget within authorized limits;

  • Knowledge Of The Operation Of The Company

  • Good knowledge of monitoring and evaluation methods and practices

  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills

  • Skill in the use of basic computer software applications 

Minimum Requirement

  • B.A Degree in Economics or Management or Accounting or other Business related fields with 2 years related work experience .
