The Internal Auditor is responsible for evaluating and improving the effectiveness of internal controls, financial accuracy, operational efficiency, and compliance within manufacturing operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct internal audits of manufacturing operations, including production, inventory, procurement, and fixed assets
• Review production processes, material usage, wastage, and cost controls
• Verify inventory records, stock movements, and warehouse controls
• Assess compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Evaluate internal control systems and identify operational and financial risks
• Prepare audit reports with findings, conclusions, and recommendations
• Follow up on audit findings and monitor implementation of corrective actions
• Support management in improving efficiency, productivity, and cost management
• Maintain independence, integrity, and confidentiality
• Work Location: Boreda, Benishangul & Addis Ababa (frequent site movement required)

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5 years relevant experience in internal auditing within a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and production processes

• Knowledge of ERP systems and MS Excel
• Good communication and report-writing skills
• Ability to work independently and in factory-based environments
