Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the company’s financial operations. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in import and export accounting also has an experience on Construction Finance, including, customs-related costs, and tax compliance. The role involves preparing financial reports and ensuring adherence to accounting and tax regulations. The Senior Accountant will support management with accurate financial information for effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements and reports
• Handle import and export accounting, including customs costs and foreign currency transactions
• Ensure compliance with tax laws and statutory requirements
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Perform bank and account reconciliations
• Support budgeting, audits, and financial planning
• Maintain proper financial records and documentation

Salary: - Negotiation

Education Qualification and Skill

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 3-4 years of relevant work experience (preferably in a senior role)
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian accounting and tax regulations
• Experience with accounting software (Peachtree, etc)
• Good understanding of financial reporting and audit procedures
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
