Job Summary

EthSwitch S.C. is seeking a qualified Senior Auditor – Digital Payments to provide independent assurance over the organization's digital payment operations.

The successful candidate will audit payment switching, settlement, reconciliation, interoperability, digital payment applications, and internal controls while ensuring compliance with National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) regulations and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

Digital Payment Auditing

• Conduct audits of digital payment operations, payment switching, settlement, reconciliation, and interoperability processes.
• Evaluate transaction integrity, operational efficiency, fraud prevention measures, and payment system controls.
• Audit payment applications and dispute management processes.
• Review settlement operations and payment processing workflows.

Risk & Compliance

• Assess compliance with National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) regulations and internal policies.
• Identify operational, financial, and regulatory risks affecting digital payment services.
• Recommend practical improvements to strengthen internal controls and governance.
• Support continuous improvement of enterprise risk management and governance practices.

Reporting

• Prepare comprehensive audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Communicate audit results to management and relevant stakeholders.

Required Qualifications
