We are looking for a skilled WordPress Developer to join our remote team and help us build, maintain, and improve professional websites for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress websites for clients.
• Create responsive websites that work well on desktop, tablet, and mobile devices.
• Customize WordPress themes and plugins.
• Convert website designs into functional WordPress pages.
• Install, configure, and maintain WordPress plugins and themes.
• Troubleshoot website errors, bugs, and performance issues.
• Perform WordPress updates, backups, and security maintenance.
• Optimize websites for speed and basic SEO.
• Integrate contact forms, payment systems, APIs, and other third-party services when required.
• Maintain and update existing client websites.
• Work with designers, content writers, SEO specialists, and project managers.
• Follow project requirements and deliver work within agreed deadlines.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of WordPress.
• Good understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript.
• Experience with WordPress themes and plugins.
• Experience with Elementor or other popular page builders.
• Basic understanding of PHP and MySQL.
• Responsive web design skills.
• Basic understanding of website security and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with domain names, hosting, DNS, and SSL.
• Ability to troubleshoot WordPress issues independently.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Qualifications

A degree or formal certification is not mandatory if you can demonstrate strong practical WordPress development skills.

Candidates with a strong portfolio, freelance experience, personal projects, or previous agency experience are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

15,000 ETB per month

Payment is based on successful completion of assigned responsibilities and continued engagement with YAZ Digitals.
