About the Job
AMG Holdings is seeking an experienced Welder to join its team. The Welder will be responsible for joining and repairing metal components through welding while following technical drawings, welding procedures, quality requirements, and workplace safety standards.
Main Responsibilities
- Join and repair metal components using appropriate welding techniques.
- Perform welding work according to technical and fabrication drawings.
- Follow established welding procedures and quality requirements.
- Ensure completed welding work meets required quality standards.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures during welding and fabrication activities.
- Inspect welded components and identify defects or areas requiring repair.
- Work effectively with other team members to complete assigned fabrication and repair tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
- Level IV or V qualification in General Mechanics, Metal Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.
- Ability to read and understand welding and fabrication drawings.
