About the Job
AZ Pipe Manufacturing is seeking a qualified and technically skilled IT Officer to manage the company's ICT infrastructure, provide technical support, and ensure the reliable and secure operation of its IT systems.
The successful candidate will support networking, hardware, software, factory systems, cybersecurity, data protection, and other technology-related operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, printers, and other ICT equipment.
- Manage the company's LAN, internet connectivity, and internal communication systems.
- Provide technical support and ICT training to employees.
- Monitor factory software systems, including ERP, inventory, finance, and production monitoring systems.
- Implement and maintain data backup, recovery, and security procedures.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, network, and system problems.
- Maintain accurate records of ICT equipment and software licenses.
- Assist with the selection, installation, and integration of new technology systems.
- Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect company systems and data.
- Support email systems, office automation, CCTV, biometric systems, and other IT-based operations.
- Perform other IT-related duties assigned by the manager or supervisor.
About You
Education
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience
- Relevant professional experience in ICT.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of IT hardware and maintenance.
- Good understanding of computer networking.
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
- Database management skills.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of IT security and data protection.
