The successful candidate will contribute to building secure, scalable, and reliable backend systems while collaborating with frontend developers, designers, and project teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions.

Job Summary

The Junior Backend Developer will be responsible for developing backend applications, creating RESTful APIs, managing databases, implementing authentication systems, and supporting application performance. This position is ideal for recent graduates, self-taught developers, and early-career professionals with strong practical backend development skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Build secure, scalable, and well-structured RESTful APIs.
• Develop backend services using Express.js or NestJS.
• Design, manage, and optimize relational databases using PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Use Prisma ORM for database modeling, migrations, and data management.
• Implement authentication and role-based authorization using JWT.
• Integrate backend services with frontend applications and third-party platforms.
• Create and maintain API documentation using Swagger or OpenAPI.
• Utilize Redis for caching and session management.
• Troubleshoot application issues and improve backend performance.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, deployment, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate using Git version control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Recent graduates and self-taught developers with strong practical skills are encouraged to apply.
• Internship, freelance, academic, or personal project experience in backend development is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
