Job Overview

Dashen Bank South Addis Ababa District invites qualified professionals to apply for the position of Branch Business Relationship Manager – Interest Free Banking (IFB). The successful candidate will lead business development activities within assigned branches, strengthen customer relationships, promote Islamic banking products, and drive deposit, financing, and investment growth.

This role requires strong leadership, business development expertise, and a deep understanding of Interest Free Banking principles and operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, coordinate, and monitor IFB business development activities within assigned branches.
• Attract new customers and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
• Promote and sell Interest Free Banking products and services.
• Achieve branch targets related to deposits, investments, and financing growth.
• Develop strategies to expand the bank’s IFB customer base.
• Identify business opportunities and maintain strong market relationships.
• Ensure compliance with Sharia principles and banking regulations.
• Support customer retention through exceptional service delivery.
• Lead branch teams to achieve operational and business objectives.
• Monitor business performance and recommend improvement strategies.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or a related field.

Advantage:

• Diploma or Certificate in Islamic Banking, Finance, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant banking experience.

Required Technical Competencies

• Strong understanding of Interest Free Banking (IFB) operations.
• Knowledge of IFB financing and investment products.
• Understanding of Sharia principles and associated banking risks.
• Experience in sales and marketing within the financial services sector.
• Customer acquisition and relationship management expertise.
• Knowledge of credit analysis, risk management, and compliance requirements.
