ENITCO is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Injection Pump Technician to join its technical team in Addis Ababa.

Job Summary

The Injection Pump Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, overhauling, and repairing diesel fuel injection systems and injection pumps. The successful candidate will ensure all maintenance and repair work is performed efficiently, safely, and according to the company's quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults in diesel fuel systems and injection pumps.

• Service, repair, and overhaul diesel injection pumps and related components.

• Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.

• Inspect fuel systems and identify technical issues.

• Ensure all repair work meets company quality and safety standards.

• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.

• Prepare maintenance reports and technical documentation as required.

• Follow workplace safety procedures and technical guidelines.

• Support other workshop activities as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

Education

Applicants must possess one of the following:

• Level IV Diploma (10+3) in Auto Electricity, Automotive Technology, or a related technical field from a recognized TVET or college.

OR

• Level III Certificate (10+2) in Auto Electricity, Automotive Technology, or a related technical field from a recognized TVET institution.

Experience

• Level IV Diploma holders: Minimum 4 years of relevant work experience.

• Level III Certificate holders: Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of diesel fuel systems and injection pumps.

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and within a team.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures and workshop safety standards.
