Job Summary
The Affiliate Contractor will support the implementation and coordination of post-Marburg Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS) activities in South Ethiopia.
The successful candidate will assist in project planning, reporting, stakeholder coordination, monitoring activities, workshop organization, and communication with partners and humanitarian agencies.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination and Implementation
- Support planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of project activities
- Assist in administrative coordination and follow-up processes
- Support development of SOPs, reports, and project documents
- Monitor implementing partners and report compliance issues
Reporting and Documentation
- Compile and analyze project information and data
- Draft project reports, briefing notes, and correspondence
- Prepare statistical tables, graphics, and documentation materials
- Maintain organized files and project records
Meetings and Capacity Building
- Organize workshops, meetings, and training sessions
- Prepare training materials and support facilitation activities
- Participate in conferences and coordination meetings
Stakeholder Engagement
- Maintain communication with local authorities and humanitarian partners
- Coordinate with UN agencies, NGOs, donors, and community stakeholders
- Support collaboration with implementing partners and project teams
Required Qualifications
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Education
- Diploma with six years of relevant experience
OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Social Sciences
- International Relations
- Development Studies
- Migration Studies
- Human Rights
- Law
- Or related fields
Experience
- Minimum 4–6 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience working with:
- Migrants and refugees
- Vulnerable communities
- Humanitarian organizations
- Government institutions
- UN agencies and NGOs
- Previous experience in multicultural humanitarian settings is an advantage
