Job Summary
The Contract Management & Liaison Lead will provide strategic leadership for contract governance, stakeholder engagement, partnership management, and service coordination across the SOS Children's Villages federation. The role serves as a key link between Member Associations (MAs), donors, and internal support teams to ensure effective planning, contracting, implementation, and monitoring of support agreements.
The successful candidate will lead contract management processes, oversee service demand planning, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive digital transformation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and contract governance.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

Lead and manage the Contract Management and Liaison Unit.

Provide strategic guidance to globally distributed teams.

Advise senior leadership on contract governance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.

Strengthen collaboration between Member Associations, donors, and internal departments.
Contract Management & Governance
-
Oversee Support Domain Agreements, Cooperation Agreements, Externally Funded Agreements, and other contractual frameworks.

Ensure compliance with organizational policies and governance standards.

Monitor contract performance, amendments, reporting, and closure processes.

Coordinate with legal, finance, and operational teams on contractual matters.
Stakeholder & Member Association Relations

Build and maintain strong relationships with Member Associations and supporting partners.

Act as a key focal point for contract-related communication and coordination.

Address operational challenges and escalation cases proactively.

Support service delivery planning and partnership sustainability.
Service Planning & Coordination

Lead support demand planning and resource allocation processes.

Align operational capacity with organizational priorities.

Support funding scenario planning and service optimization.

Improve coordination frameworks across multiple support domains.
Digital Transformation & Operational Excellence

Lead modernization of contract management systems.

Support workflow automation, e-signature solutions, and reporting tools.

Utilize dashboards and analytics platforms for performance monitoring.

Promote process improvement and operational efficiency.

Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Development, Law, Finance, or a related field.
Preferred

Master's Degree in Contract Management, Procurement, Project Governance, or related discipline.

Professional certifications such as CCMP, PMP, PRINCE2, Procurement Certification, or equivalent.
Experience

Minimum 8–10 years of professional experience.

At least 4 years in senior leadership or management roles.

Experience within international NGOs, donor-funded projects, or multinational organizations.

Strong background in contract management, compliance, governance, procurement, and stakeholder coordination.
