The bank is seeking a qualified Corporate Business Relationship Manager – IFB to strengthen its Islamic Finance (Interest-Free Banking) Corporate Banking team in the Hawassa District.
Job Summary
The Corporate Business Relationship Manager – IFB is responsible for managing and expanding a portfolio of corporate clients by promoting Interest-Free Banking (IFB) products and services. The role focuses on acquiring new customers, maintaining long-term client relationships, identifying business opportunities, cross-selling banking solutions, and providing financial advice that supports customer growth while ensuring compliance with Islamic banking principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a portfolio of IFB corporate banking clients.
- Identify and acquire new corporate customers.
- Promote and cross-sell Dashen Bank's Islamic banking products and services.
- Build strong relationships with existing clients to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
- Analyze customer business needs and recommend suitable financing solutions.
- Conduct credit and financing assessments in line with bank policies.
- Monitor customer portfolios and manage financing risks.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and Islamic finance principles.
- Prepare business development plans and achieve portfolio growth targets.
- Provide regular client support and strategic business advice.
- Collaborate with internal departments to deliver high-quality banking services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Marketing Management, Business Administration, Banking, or a related field.
- Master's Degree in a related field is an added advantage.
- Diploma or Certificate in Islamic Banking and Finance is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant banking experience, including 2 years in a middle or line management position.
- Previous experience in corporate banking is highly desirable.
