Job Summary
Hijra Bank is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Customer Service Officer to oversee customer service operations, cash management activities, and branch transaction processes. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient branch operations, maintaining high service standards, and supporting customer satisfaction initiatives.
The position requires strong banking experience, leadership capability, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring compliance with banking policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Management

Supervise and coordinate Customer Service Officers within the branch.

Monitor service quality and customer satisfaction levels.

Ensure efficient and professional service delivery to customers.

Support customer retention and relationship-building initiatives.
Cash Management & Vault Operations
-
Manage and control branch vault cash in both local and foreign currencies.

Ensure accurate cash balancing and reconciliation at the end of each business day.

Oversee cash deposits, withdrawals, and vault transactions.

Maintain established cash holding limits and coordinate cash consignments with Treasury.
Branch Operations

Ensure branch transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.

Verify and authorize daily operational activities in accordance with bank procedures.

Ensure all transactions are properly audited and authorized.

Monitor compliance with banking regulations and internal controls.
Leadership & Coordination

Coach and mentor branch customer service staff.

Provide regular performance feedback and operational guidance.

Promote teamwork and operational efficiency within the branch.
Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure adherence to cash handling procedures and operational policies.

Maintain proper records and documentation of branch activities.

Support implementation of interest-free banking principles and operational standards.
Required Qualifications
Education

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
Experience

Minimum of 3 years of relevant banking experience.

Experience in customer service, cash management, or branch operations is preferred.

IFB (Interest-Free Banking) Training Certification is an advantage.
