Job Summary

Dodai Manufacturing Plc is seeking a Junior Battery Technician to support battery assembly, testing, inspection, repair, and maintenance activities. The successful candidate will work closely with senior technicians to ensure battery systems are assembled, tested, and handled safely while maintaining high quality and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

Battery Assembly & Preparation

• Assist with battery assembly, disassembly, and preparation activities.
• Prepare battery packs, tools, fixtures, and components before testing or repairs.
• Support battery opening, cleaning, reassembly, and packaging.
• Handle battery movement and storage following safety procedures.

Battery Testing & Inspection

• Support battery charging, discharging, testing, and inspection activities.
• Perform visual inspections and report damaged or defective battery packs.
• Ensure batteries are properly labeled before testing or dispatch.

Operational Support

• Maintain clean and organized workstations and storage areas.
• Receive, organize, and prepare battery components and consumables.
• Support inventory movement and material handling activities.

Documentation & Reporting

• Complete assigned checklists and operational records.
• Report damaged materials, defects, or safety concerns.
• Communicate work progress to supervisors when required.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all battery handling procedures and workplace safety standards.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Handle battery packs, tools, and equipment carefully to prevent damage.
• Perform additional technical tasks assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Or a closely related technical field
• 0–1 year of relevant work experience.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical skills are encouraged to apply.
