About the Job

Hijra Bank S.C. is looking for a Manager, District Operation to oversee and coordinate the overall activities of branches within the district.

The position is responsible for implementing the Bank's operational strategies, driving deposit mobilization, monitoring branch performance, improving service quality, supporting branch managers, and ensuring district activities align with the Bank's strategic objectives.

Job Mission

The Manager, District Operation will:

• Plan, coordinate, direct, and supervise branch activities within the district.
• Follow up on the implementation of Bank policies and procedures.
• Monitor branch performance against plans and targets.
• Visit customer businesses and assess market opportunities.
• Drive deposit mobilization and customer growth across the district.
• Support branches in achieving operational and business targets.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the major functions of the district.
• Implement deposit mobilization strategies and ensure achievement of district deposit targets.
• Follow up on banking service and operational strategies across branches.
• Monitor service delivery and ensure acceptable levels of customer service quality.
• Participate in market assessments, marketing plans, environmental scanning, and identification of business opportunities.
• Prepare periodic performance reports for the Senior Director – Branch Operation and other concerned departments.
• Analyze reasons for operational underperformance, including gaps in deposits and customer-base growth.
• Recommend appropriate improvement measures where performance falls below targets.
• Review the technical design and improvement of product sales initiatives.
• Promote coordination and integration between districts to support the Bank's strategic objectives.
• Provide ongoing operational and business support to branches.
• Manage branch requisitions within the district's supervision.
• Closely monitor ongoing share sales activities and prepare periodic reports.
• Develop initiatives to strengthen share sales mobilization across branches.
• Closely monitor the performance of managers responsible for share sales.
• Conduct customer and market visits to identify opportunities and strengthen business relationships.
• Support branch managers in improving performance and achieving assigned targets.

Required Qualifications

Candidates should have:

• Master's Degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; or
• Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.

Required Experience

• For Master's Degree holders: 6 years of relevant experience.
• For Bachelor's Degree holders: 8 years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory position.
