Job Summary
The Data Management and Analytics Officer will support the collection, management, analysis, and reporting of research and project data. The successful candidate will ensure high-quality data management practices, develop analytical reports, maintain databases, and assist project teams with evidence-based decision-making.
The role requires strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and experience using modern data management tools and statistical software.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, clean, validate, and organize project and research datasets.
- Maintain secure databases and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Analyze large datasets and generate meaningful reports and visualizations.
- Develop dashboards and performance reports for project monitoring.
- Support data collection activities and ensure compliance with data quality standards.
- Perform statistical analysis and provide evidence to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with research teams to improve data management processes.
- Prepare regular technical reports and analytical summaries.
- Ensure proper documentation and secure storage of project data.
- Support the implementation of data governance and data protection policies.
Required Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Economics, Mathematics, Public Health, or a related field.
- Experience in data management, statistical analysis, or research data systems.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, R, Python, STATA, SPSS, or similar analytical tools.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing large databases and producing high-quality reports.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
